Five trims, one engine, all-wheel drive on every one of them. What follows is the published price of each, what the destination charge adds, what each step up buys, and which national offers were live when this page was last checked.
A new 2026 Mazda CX-5 starts at $29,990 MSRP for the 2.5 S and runs to $38,990 for the 2.5 S Premium Plus, before a destination charge of $1,495.[1] Add the destination charge and the range becomes roughly $31,485 to $40,485 before taxes, title, registration and any dealer fees.
i-Activ AWD® is standard on all five trims, so there is no front-wheel-drive version to price against and no all-wheel-drive upcharge to add. Mazda discontinued the 2.5-liter turbo for 2026, which means every trim on this list carries the same 187-horsepower engine. You are buying equipment as you go up the range, not performance.
These are the manufacturer’s suggested retail prices Mazda published for the 2026 model year. The delivered column is MSRP plus destination and nothing else.
| Trim | Starting MSRP[1] | Destination | Estimated delivered, before tax and fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2.5 S | $29,990 | $1,495 | $31,485 |
| 2.5 S Select | $31,990 | $1,495 | $33,485 |
| 2.5 S Preferred | $34,250 | $1,495 | $35,745 |
| 2.5 S Premium | $36,900 | $1,495 | $38,395 |
| 2.5 S Premium Plus | $38,990 | $1,495 | $40,485 |
The delivered column is arithmetic we did, not a Mazda-published figure, and it is not an out-the-door price. Florida sales tax, the county discretionary surtax, tag and title work and any dealer charges all sit on top of it. We will put a full out-the-door number in writing for you on any specific vehicle. Call (321) 235-6764 and ask for one.
The $1,495 destination and handling charge is set by Mazda North American Operations, applies at every Mazda dealer in the country, and is the same whether you buy the base trim or the top one.[1] Alaska pays $1,540. It is quoted separately from MSRP by federal labeling rules, not to make the headline number look smaller.
The gaps between trims are small and the content of each gap is not. This is the walk we do with people standing in front of the cars.
| Step | Price difference[1] | The main things you gain |
|---|---|---|
| 2.5 S to 2.5 S Select | $2,000 | Leatherette and microsuede seats, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™,[2] wireless charging pad, rear air vents, heated power-folding mirrors, privacy glass |
| 2.5 S Select to 2.5 S Preferred | $2,260 | Heated front seats, heated steering wheel, 10-way power driver’s seat with memory, Active Driving Display, power liftgate, 19-inch wheels, roof rails |
| 2.5 S Preferred to 2.5 S Premium | $2,650 | Leather seats, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, power passenger seat, panoramic sunroof, Bose® 12-speaker audio, ambient lighting |
| 2.5 S Premium to 2.5 S Premium Plus | $2,090 | 15.6-inch center display, 360° View Monitor, hands-free power liftgate, paddle shifters, Driver Personalization System, adaptive front lighting |
Two of those steps stand out to us. The 2.5 S Preferred is where the car stops feeling like a base model, because that is where the power seat, the heated seats and the power liftgate all arrive at once. The 2.5 S Premium is where ventilated seats arrive, which in this climate is worth more than the leather it comes attached to.
Every new vehicle carries a federal Monroney label listing MSRP, destination, factory-installed options and the total. On any specific car, that label is the document that settles what the manufacturer charges. Everything on this page is the model-level published price.
Mazda keeps the 2026 Mazda CX-5 option sheet short. The only factory option that changes the price is paint.
Navy Blue Mica is new for 2026 and is the no-cost color. Machine Gray Metallic, Rhodium White Premium, Polymetal Gray Metallic, Aero Gray Metallic and Soul Red Crystal Metallic are premium paints at $595 each.[1] Jet Black Mica rounds out the palette. Availability varies by trim, and the base 2.5 S is offered in a narrower set than the four trims above it.[3]
Everything else is an accessory rather than a factory option. Genuine Mazda roof racks, cargo trays, all-weather liners, the tow hitch and its trailer wiring are ordered and fitted separately, and they are not part of MSRP.[4] Our parts department at (407) 851-8510 will price any of them against your VIN.
Manufacturer offers move faster than any other number on this page, and we would rather show you a dated snapshot with its expiry than a stale claim with none.
| Offer | Terms as published | Expires |
|---|---|---|
| 0% APR for 36 months | Zero percent APR for 36 months on approved credit for very well-qualified buyers financing a new 2026 Mazda CX-5 through Mazda Financial Services at participating dealers, quoted at $27.78 per month per $1,000 financed with nothing down, with first payment deferred up to 90 days. Finance charges continue to accrue during the deferral. | July 31, 2026 |
| $500 Conquest Reward | Available on the purchase or lease of a new 2026 Mazda CX-5 to owners of a 2017 or newer vehicle from a listed competing brand. Stackable with some private offers, not combinable with Mazda loyalty programs. | June 30, 2026, and lapsed |
| Customer cash on select crossovers | The 2026 Mazda CX-5 is not on the eligible model list for this program, which is normal for a first-year all-new vehicle. | Not applicable |
The zero percent finance offer above expires within days of the last-updated date shown at the top of this page, and the conquest offer had already passed its posted expiry while the tile stayed live on the manufacturer site.[5] Offers are also regional and are not available to every buyer. Call (321) 235-6764 and we will tell you what is actually running today rather than what was running when this was written.
On the programs people ask about most: Mazda’s College Finance Program offers competitive rates and lease terms rather than a cash rebate, and Mazda’s own documentation says so plainly. Military and loyalty programs exist and are referenced in Mazda offer terms, but Mazda publishes no dollar amount for either that we could verify, so we will not print one.[5] Ask us and we will run your eligibility.
Two things are worth holding in mind when you line the 2026 Mazda CX-5 up against a rival’s base price.
The first is all-wheel drive. It is standard on every trim, and across much of this segment all-wheel drive is a paid option that adds four figures to a comparable car.[6] Compare a Mazda CX-5 2.5 S against a competitor’s front-wheel-drive base model and you are not comparing the same vehicle.
The second is that the 2026 Mazda CX-5 earned a 2026 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ award, which requires acceptable or good headlights across every trim.[7] Some award winners qualify on their upper trims and rely on equipment the entry model does not have. That is not the case here.
Where we will be straight with you: the 2026 Mazda CX-5 is not the cheapest compact SUV on a Central Florida shopping list, and it is not the most economical to fuel now that a major rival has gone hybrid-only. What it is, at this price, is an all-wheel-drive SUV with a top safety award and a cabin that reads a class above the sticker. If that trade does not suit you, we would rather find you the right car than sell you the wrong one.
Three practical notes for buyers in this market.
Florida charges state sales tax on a vehicle purchase plus a county discretionary surtax that applies to part of the price and varies by county, so two buyers paying the same price for the same car can owe different amounts depending on where they register it. We are not tax advisors and we will not guess your number, but we will show you the full calculation in writing before you sign anything.
Trim availability constrains a first-year vehicle. The 2026 Mazda CX-5 has been in production for about a year, and specific trim and color combinations move quickly.[8] If you want Sport Tan leather or Soul Red Crystal Metallic on a particular trim, tell us early and we will look for it rather than talk you into what is on the ground.
Last, bring your trade. A trade appraisal changes the arithmetic on this page more than any national offer will, and it takes about twenty minutes at 9786 S. Orange Blossom Trail.

The 2026 Mazda CX-5 starts at $29,990 MSRP for the 2.5 S and runs to $38,990 for the 2.5 S Premium Plus, plus a $1,495 destination and handling charge.[1] That puts the delivered range at roughly $31,485 to $40,485 before taxes, title, registration and any dealer charges.
No. MSRP for the 2026 Mazda CX-5 excludes the $1,495 destination and handling charge, which is $1,540 in Alaska.[1] The charge is set by Mazda North American Operations, is identical on every trim, and applies at every Mazda dealer. It appears as a separate line on the vehicle’s window sticker.
The 2.5 S at $29,990 MSRP is the least expensive 2026 Mazda CX-5.[1] It still includes standard i-Activ AWD®, a 12.9-inch center touchscreen, Google built in, a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster and the full standard i-Activsense® safety suite.[9] There is no front-wheel-drive version at a lower price.
Offers change monthly and are regional, so the table on this page is a dated snapshot rather than a live quote.[5] At the last check, a zero percent APR finance offer for 36 months applied to the 2026 Mazda CX-5 through Mazda Financial Services on approved credit. Call Sport Mazda South at (321) 235-6764 for the programs running today.
Premium paint on the 2026 Mazda CX-5 is $595.[1] That applies to Machine Gray Metallic, Rhodium White Premium, Polymetal Gray Metallic, Aero Gray Metallic and Soul Red Crystal Metallic. Navy Blue Mica, new for the 2026 model year, is a no-cost color, as is Jet Black Mica.[3]
No. i-Activ AWD® is standard on all five 2026 Mazda CX-5 trims and there is no front-wheel-drive version in the United States, so all-wheel drive adds nothing to the price.[1] Many competing compact SUVs charge separately for all-wheel drive, which is worth accounting for when comparing base prices.[6]
