Effective September 1, 2026, Sport Mazda South in Orlando charges no dealer documentation fee and no pre-delivery service charge. The two together were $1,440. Both are now $0, on every new Mazda and every pre-owned vehicle we sell.
A $395 electronic registration and filing fee still applies. We are stating that in the second paragraph rather than the fine print, because a page about transparency that buries its own exception is not about transparency.
Most Orlando shoppers are working out one number: the out-the-door price, meaning what the check or the loan amount actually comes to once everything is added. Historically, dealer fees have been the part of that arithmetic customers could not run for themselves, because the amounts were not published and varied between stores by a thousand dollars or more.
Removing $1,440 of them makes the calculation something you can do in your driveway. Take the price on the listing. Add Florida sales tax and the government charges for tag, title and registration. Add our $395 electronic registration and filing fee. That is the number. There is no further dealer charge waiting at the desk.
None of this is a limited offer. It is how we structure deals now, on a Mazda CX-90 and on a pre-owned sedan under $15,000 equally.

The $395 electronic registration and filing fee is the one dealer charge we have kept. Florida maintains an Electronic Filing System that lets authorized dealers complete title and registration transactions directly, and this fee covers our work inside it, which is why you leave with your registration handled rather than an appointment to make.
This is a dealer charge and not a government charge. Florida’s administrative code is direct on the point: a filing fee of this type must be disclosed separately and may not be presented or disguised as a state fee. We agree, so we have given it its own row in the table above rather than grouping it with the taxes.
Florida sales tax and the government fees for tag, title and registration apply on top, as they do at every dealership in the state. Those amounts are set by Orange County and the state of Florida, and they are not ours to remove.
Several states cap what a dealership may charge for documentation. Florida does not, and the absence of a ceiling shows in the data: Edmunds research places Florida’s median documentation fee at roughly $899, tied with Virginia for the highest of any state.1 Ours, as of September 1, 2026, is $0.

What a dealership charges to prepare and process the documents in a sale: the purchase agreement, the finance contract, the title application. Florida sets no maximum and requires no minimum, so a dealership may charge nothing. Sport Mazda South charged $995 and now charges $0.
