Expectations

Full repairs of any vehicle components
Emission diagnostic and repair capabilities
Power train diagnostics repair and rebuild
Understanding of vehicle suspension and brake systemsincluding ABS systems, and any related electrical systems
Full knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and their operations, including
airbag systems
Electrical systems diagnostics and repairs, from simply installing a battery or alternator, to diagnosing/repairing wiring harnesses
Full knowledge of A/C systems and there operation
Must be able to read and understand a wiring diagram
Fully capable of using any shop related equipment (i.e. laptop computer, A/C machine, brake lathe, alignment machine, and more)

Requirements

ASE Certification Preferred
Ability to read and comprehend
High School Diploma
Reliable Transportation
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Pass background screening requirements

Expectations

Check tire pressure and add air if needed
Communicate with parts department to obtain parts
Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
Follow all shop policy, procedure, and safety rules
Work with your team to prepare and service vehicles efficiently
Perform routine service inspections, tests, fluid flushes and complete standard maintenance jobs
Check all fluids and maintenance-related parts and top-off or replace fluids or filters/parts as required
Perform oil changes, check batteries, check tire tread depth
Maintain, clean and repair maintenance equipment as required
Install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates
Keep his/her work shop clean and orderly
